10 Day Cleanse Day 3

Brittany

Day 3:
  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach, 30 min prior to breakfast): Fruit Punch Spark, Probiotic Restore and Catalyst
  • Breakfast (Meal 1): Fiber Drink, Chocolate Peanut Butter Meal Replacement Shake
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Advobar Raw
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Salad topped with Tuna
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4):Mixed Nuts and cantaloupe
  • Pre-workout- Arginine Extreme
  • Exercise: 4 mile run and Can You 24 Workout DVD 
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Caribbean Chicken Kebabs, see recipe below
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6):Peach
  • Before bed: Herbal Cleanse Tablets

Total Daily Water intake - 115 oz

  • Lunch (Meal 3): Stir Fry
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Carrots
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Caribbean Chicken Kebabs
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6):Watermelon
  • Before bed: Herbal Cleanse Tablets
Total Daily Water intake - 120 oz


Recipe:

Hawaiian Chicken Kebabs with Brown Rice

Marinade
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, all visible fat discarded, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp. Liquid Amnios
Fresh pineapple juice from cut pineapple
2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced OR 1 tsp. jarred minced garlic

Chicken Kebabs
Non-stick cooking spray
Fresh pineapple chunks
2 chopped bell peppers
Mushrooms
1 pint grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
12-15 wooden skewers
2 cups brown rice

Directions
In plastic bag, add chicken chunks, add soy sauce, pineapple juice, and garlic into plastic bag. Seal and let chicken marinate in the fridge for about 15 minutes ( I actually let it marinate overnight).
Preheat oven to 400 F. Take chicken out of marinade and place in a bowl. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Add pineapple, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and chicken to the skewers. Repeat until all ingredients have been used. Place on baking sheet and cook in the oven for ~15 minutes, until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 F

You can also cook these on the grill. Be sure to soak the wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes before assembly to prevent them from catching fire.
