Advocare 24 Day Challenge: Day 16 Max Phase

Day 16:
  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach): Fruit Punch Spark, 1st MNS Color Pack
  • Breakfast (Meal 1): 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, with all natural peanut butter and 1/2 of a sliced banana 
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Real yogurt with strawberrries
  • 15 min before Lunch: MNS Color Pack
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Turkey burger, sweet potato, asparagus, MNS White Packs (both)
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Watermelon
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Spaghetti Squash Pizza (See recipe below), Omegaplex (2)
  • Pre-exercise: 3 catalyst, Rehydrate
  • Exercise: 7 mile run
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Advocare Post Workout Recovery
Water intake- 145 oz
Feeling: Feeling great! Tons of energy if you can tell, since I am posting this a mid night! I am at 6.5 lbs lost but I feel like I am getting more toned which is good! Also, I know I said I had a recipe to share, the one below is not the one I was planning on... I will include that tomorrow!!

Helpful Hint: 

Spaghetti Squash Pizza
1 spaghetti squash
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil & garlic mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pizza/ Tomato Sauce
Fresh Mozzarella Cheese


Cut squash in half – use a big knife, cutting is kind of difficult. Place in microwave safe bowl with two inches of water.  Place in microwave for 15 minutes, uncovered. Cool slightly and remove seeds. Using a fork, pull the spaghetti strands away from the skin. Place on a plate or baking dish with paper towels. We want to try and soak up any excess moisture from the squash. In a bowl, mix together squash, egg and spices. Set aside. Preheat oven, with baking sheet inside at 400 degrees.  Once hot enough remove pan cover with parchment paper, and spread spaghetti squash mixture over the baking sheet in a thin layer.  Bake until the edges begin to brown, around 20-25 minutes. Cover in a little sauce (I used homemade), cheese, and your favorite toppings. Bake for another 4-6 minutes, until the cheese is melted. 

SOOOO GOOD!!!
