Clean Eating Protein Banana Pancakes

Clean Eating Protein Banana Pancakes


  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 4 eggs (or 6 egg whites)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter
  • Dash vanilla
  • Dash Cinnamon
  • 1 scoop of Advocare Muscle gain (Vanilla or Chocolate)
  • Optional cup of oatmeal uncooked
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and then cook. I used coconut oil to coat the griddle. 



This is a perfect recipe for the Max Phase of the 24 Day Challenge!

Advocare 24 Day Challenge: Results!


Feelings: Well I did not lose the 10 pounds I was hoping to lose but I came pretty darn close! I am happy with the progress I did make and was a-mazed to see the before and after of the “Progress after Two 24 Day Challenges”!   Not only have I had the physical changes but I have so much more energy and have reestablished my healthy eating habits! I am very happy with the entire experience and glad I was able to complete the 24 Day Challenge with all products this time! I am looking forward to continuing my eating habits, as well as some of my favorite Advocare products!  I am going to continue with the Meal Replacement ShakesCatalystSparkAdvobars, Muscle Gain,Post Workout Recovery and Rehydrate!  Please continue to check back for updates on Healthy Recipes, Fitness posts and Advocare information!

Feeling: It is hard to believe that the challenge is actually over! I am glad I decided to do the 24 Day Challenge the way it was meant to be now that I am done breastfeeding.  I felt that it has helped me get back on track with making healthier choices and I have made some new favorite recipes!  Tomorrow is weigh-in!!!

Helpful Hint:

Chicken & Veggie Roaster served with Quinoa

1 box Vegetable or Chicken broth
3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, trimmed of fat
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 diced onion
3 cups diced tomatoes (I used homemade)
1 bundle of celery, diced
1 bag of carrots
2 teaspoons thyme
2 teaspoons basil
2 teaspoons oregano
salt and pepper to taste


Throw the entire ingredient list into roaster or crock pot and cook for 3-4 hours.  I cooked mine in the oven at 350 for 3.5 hours and the chicken just fell apart!  I was very happy with the way this turned out since I pretty much looked in my fridge and cabinets and threw it together!  I served this on top of left over Quinoa but it could be eaten by itself or with brown rice.

Feeling: Amazed that I am just about done with the challenge.  I have to admit the first 3 days are rough but once you get through them and the cravings go away it is not that bad and I feel that I appreciate the taste of food much more and can really taste flavoring a lot more!  I am excited to weigh in and measure myself to see my progress!  But I am happy to be feeling good and I believe it has helped my running as well!

Day 20:

  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Hardboiled egg,  strawberries and blueberries
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Leftover Quinoa Chicken Stir Fry, Omegaplex (2)
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Apple and peanut butter
Water intake- 115 oz
Helpful hint:
Chicken Quinoa Vegetable Stir-fry 
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch pieces 
- 1 large bag of frozen stir fry veggies 
- 1 tsp garlic 
- 2 eggs 
- 2 cups Quinoa
- 3 tbsp organic liquid aminos (soy sauce substitute) 

Start cooking the Quinoa according to the directions, boil water for frozen stir fry veggies (follow directions on bag), sauté chicken. Take eggs and fry in pan with chicken. Once Quinoa is finished cooking add to pan with chicken, add in cooked stir fry veggies. Pour organic liquid aminos or the mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.

Day 17:

  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Watermelon
  • 15 min before Lunch: MNS Color Pack
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Leftover Spaghetti Squash Pizza, MNS White Packs (both)
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Celery and All natural Peanut Butter
  • Exercise: 2.2 mile run
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Taco on whole grain wrap, with plain greek yogurt and salsa, Omegaplex (2)
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Homemade applesauce, no added sugar
Water intake- 130 oz
Day 18:
  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach): Grape, 1st MNS Color Pack
  • Breakfast (Meal 1): 2 rice cakes, 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Clean Eating Strawberry Rhubarb muffin
  • 15 min before Lunch: MNS Color Pack
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Taco salad, topped with salsa and plain greek yogurt, MNS White Packs (both)
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Clean Eating Strawberry Rhubarb muffin and applesauce
  • Pre workout: Catalyst (3), Rehydrate
  • Exercise: 5 mile run
  • Dinner/Post workout (Meal 5):Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake mixed with Post Workout Recovery, Omegaplex (2)
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Fresh yogurt and blueberries
Water intake- 145 oz

Feeling: Still feeling good, have not had the urge to snack (which is nice, I tend to be a "snacker").  Lots of energy and cannot believe I am done in less than a week!

Helpful hint:

Clean Eating Strawberry Rhubarb Muffins
1 ¾ cup whole wheat flour
¼ cup honey
1 egg
¾ cup of almond milk
2 ½ tsp baking powder
1/3 cup apple sauce
3 tbsp agave syrup
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
¾ cup minced rhubarb
½ cup sliced strawberries


Combine egg, milk, apple sauce, honey, agave syrup, and vanilla in a small bowl. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon in large bowl. Mix liquid ingredients into large bowl. Fold in fruit. Fill lined muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check with toothpick! ENJOY!!
