24 Day Challenge: Day 1 & 2 Cleanse Phase



Yesterday was the first day I started the Advocare 24 Day Challenge! I am very excited because this will be my first time doing the challenge without breastfeeding and I get to use all of the products! I did however run out of time yesterday to post my update so I am combining Day 1 and Day 2 for today!

Advocare 24 Day Challenge: Day 1 Cleanse Phase


Day 1:

  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach): Fruit Punch Spark, Take Catalyst (3)
  • Pre-Breakfast: Fiber Drink stir in 8 oz of water, drink quickly and follow with another 8oz water
  • Breakfast (Meal 1): Berry Meal Replacement Shake
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Watermelon and Grapes
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Grilled chicken, Carrots, Cherry tomatoes
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Advobar Raw
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Salad with salsa as dressing and Turkey burger and Omegaplex (2)
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Strawberries and Blueberries
  • Bedtime: Herbal Cleanse tablets with water

Water intake- 128 oz

Feeling: I do have to say that the more you do the challenges, the easier they get! I haven't had really any craving yet this time around!





Advocare 24 Day Challenge: Day 2 Cleanse Phase



Day 2:

  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach): Fruit Punch Spark
  • Pre-Breakfast: Fiber Drink stir in 8 oz of water, drink quickly and follow with another 8oz water
  • Breakfast (Meal 1): Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2): Carrots, and a rice cake with hummus
  • Lunch (Meal 3): Salad topped with tomato and cucumber, side of Tuna. Annie’s Shiitake Sesame dressing
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Skipped
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Spaghetti Squash bowl  (See recipe below) and Omegaplex (2)
  • Pre-exercise: 10 minutes prior to exercise,Catalyst (3)
  • Exercise: 2.16 mile run, weight training
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Muscle Gain Shake
  • Bedtime: Herbal Cleanse Tablets

Water intake- 153 oz

Feeling: I am feeling great!  Have a great amount of energy and enjoying day 2!  I did have a mix up with my schedule and ended up missing my mid afternoon snack so I was feeling it before we ate dinner but still feeling great! 

Helpful Hint:
Spaghetti Squash bowl
Ingredients:

  • 1 med/lg spaghetti squash
  • 1 can tomato sauce (no salt added), and our own homemade spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 lb Turkey Burger
  • 1 cup frozen mixed peppers and onions
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic

Cut squash in half – use a big knife, cutting is kind of difficult. Place in microwave safe bowl with two inches of water.  Place in microwave for 15 minutes, uncovered. Cool slightly and remove seeds. Using a fork, pull the spaghetti strands away from the skin.
Put peppers, onions and garlic in pan simmer until soft, add turkey burger, then add spaghetti squash
Take spoon full of sauce on loosened spaghetti noodles while still in shell.  

And there you go! Even saves on some dirty dishes :)
