Muscle Gain Tofu Pudding Recipe


INGREDIENTS:
10 and 1/2 oz. silken tofu
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 nautral peanut butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons Splenda
1 scoop Advocare Chocolate Muscle Gain

DIRECTIONS:
In a Magic Bullet or food processor, blend tofu until creamy.
Add vanilla and peanut butter and blend 1 minute.
Add Muscle Gain and blend 1 minute, scraping sides as needed.
Chill 1 hour before serving.

Easy Baked Chicken Fajitas Recipe

Here is a great recipe to use during the Advocare 24 Day Challenge! 


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 large purple onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 orange pepper, sliced
  • 1 can RO*TEL (I used the Mexican Lime & Cilantro variety)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Slice chicken and veggies into strips.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon, and spices. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken and veggies to the seasoning mixture and stir until coated.
  • Pour into greased 10X13 baking dish.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes or until chicken is cooked all the way through. Stir halfway through cooking.
  • Serve with whole grain tortillas or lettuce wraps.

10 Day Cleanse: Day 10

WOW! It's hard to believe that 10 days have gone by so quickly! We are both excited to weigh in tomorrow to see our progress, I know that my pants are definitely fitting better which is always a plus! Hopefully our journal of the last 10 days have been helpful! Water intake - 112 oz

Recipes:

Turkey Burger Chili
1 lb ground turkey burger
1 bag of Bob's Red Mill 13 Bean Soup Mix, follow directions to prepare beans
2 cloves minced garlic
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium to large onion, chopped
1 (29 oz) can crushed tomato (No Sugar Added)
1 (16oz) jar salsa (No Sugar Added)
¼ cup (approx) Chili Powder (more or less to taste)
2 tsp (approx) cumin (to taste)
Brown meat in a large stock pot along with garlic, bell pepper, and onion. Add beans, tomatoes, salsa, and spices to taste. Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.

Recipes:


Turkey Burger Lettuce wrap Serves 4

4 packs of Jennie-O turkey burger

Frozen green peppers and onion
4 large iceberg lettuce leaf
1 avocado
1 large tomato slice


Take four patties and mix together with frozen green peppers and onion then form 4 separate patties and cook low and slow either in a skillet or on the grill until cooked through. Put the lettuce leaf on a plate and put the cooked patty in the center. Add avocado and tomato slices and top with salsa.




Baked Sweet Potato Fries
1/2 cup coconut oil 
3 sweet potatoes, cut in strips

1/2 teaspoon paprika 
1/2 teaspoon salt 
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
1/2 teaspoon onion powder 
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

 
Preheat the oven to 450F, Mix together black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and paprika in small bowl. Place sweet potato strips in plastic storage bag. Add coconut oil and spice mixture and toss.  Place on parchment paper covered baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until desired texture

  • Lunch (Meal 3): Salad topped with tuna, carrots, celery, tomatoes and sunflower seeds with Annie’s Organic Oil and Vinegar Dressing
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4): Grapefruit and strawberries
  • Pre-exercise: catalyst 10 minute prior
  • Exercise: 3.5 mile run

Recipes:


Easy Sausage and Vegetable Foil Packs

  • Yellow/Green/Red Pepper
  • Onion
  • Potato
  • Organic Chicken Sausage
  • Olive Oil


Preheat oven to 350. Seal peppers, potatoes, onion and sausage in aluminum foil pouch spray with olive oil (to keep from sticking), top with fresh pepper or herbs. Place in oven for 1 hour. You could also grill the foil packs until potatoes become soft.
