Advocare 24 Day Challenge for Breastfeeding Mom's: Day 4

Day 4:
  • Immediately upon rising (On an empty stomach) :  Fruit Punch Spark, Take (3) Catalyst, Take (1) Probiotic Restore ULTRA and drank the Fiber Drink (followed by a full glass of water) 
  • 20 - 30 minutes later for Breakfast (Meal 1):  Berry Meal Replacement Shake as well as the 2 OmegaPlex and one Prenatal vitamin. 
  • Exercise: 5 mile run
  • Drink Rehydrate
  • Mid Morning Snack (Meal 2):  Muscle Gain with frozen banana after my run
  • Lunch (Meal 3):  Grilled Carribean Chicken which I found in the 24 Day Challenge Cookbook with a side of grilled zucchini and brown rice
  • Mid Afternoon Snack (Meal 4):  Mixed nuts and a peach
  • Dinner (Meal 5): Slow Cooker Chicken Fajita which I found in the 24 Day Challenge Cookbook, over a bed of lettuce and a side of brown rice, as well as (2) OmegaPlex.
  • Evening Snack (Meal 6): Apple
Feelings: Today was my best feeling day so far! I was worried about running in the morning and then working tonight but I actually felt really good!

Helpful Hint::  A list of good foods to eat!   The goal is to “starve” the toxins
  •  Fresh/Raw Fruits and Veggies
  • 100% Whole Grain Rice (Brown rice, Wild rice), Quinoa
  • Oatmeal
  • Chicken, Fish, Turkey Breast, Ground Turkey
  • Almond Milk, Rice Milk
  • Healthy Fats: Avocado, Olives/Olive Oil, Raw Nuts/Seeds (unsalted and not coated with anything)
  • Peanut or Almond Butter (no sugar or oil added)
  • Beans, Lentils
  • Chicken or Vegetable Broths
  • Hummus (without the oil)
  • Fresh Diluted Juices, Herbal Teas
  • Garlic, Spices, Herbs, Fresh Salsa, Taco Seasoning (low sodium)
  • For cooking, use water, broth, lemon juice, or the non-stick spray with no calories/fat (do not use oil)
The following items are optional because they are not a low glycemic carb. For best results, hold off for 10 days:
  • Sprouted Grain Bread or Tortillas (Ezekiel is a great brand or Dave’s Killer Bread)
  • 100% Whole Grain Pasta
  • 100% Whole Wheat Bread (make sure it says 100% or else it’s just white bread in brown clothing –preferably Stone Ground Wheat)
